Trip Itinerary

Much of our itinerary is already set despite the early date.  The only variable as of now is whether or not Ward will be coming along. If Ward is in, we can leave after work on July 27 since we'll have three drivers and will be able to drive through the night.  If Ward is out, then Bob and I will have to leave on the morning of the 27th, stopping somewhere to sleep that night before finishing the drive out on Wednesday afternoon. Both Lee and Steve will be driving their own vehicles as they will both be getting in shape hiking in Grand Teton National Park before we even finish packing.

I have no clue where we are all going to meeet up before the hike.  I have an offer of lodging at a Dude Ranch very near Brooks Lake from a friend.  We could camp at a NFS campground or could take the easy way out and a get a motel room in Dubois.

The one thing I am fairly certain of is our route. After much deliberation, consternation, meditation and flip-floppage, I have determined that our best bet to see the best of the Teton Wilderness is to begin our hike at Turpin Meadows and finish at Brooks Lake.  But that could all change depending on weather and other factors.
