Hey Brett Favre...Concerned about the competency of your guides? Check out some of the other backcountry trips I've gone on.

Beartooth Hike Photo Tour

Our base of operations for this trip will be historic Red Lodge, Montana.

After staging a vehicle at our exit point we'll drive to Alpine, MT to begin the hike. This photo is looking est towards Alpine.

My Falcon guide says this area is worthy of national park designation

Elk Lake---a mere 3 miles into the hike.

You can see the trail skirting the shore of Rimrock Lake, 6 miles into the hike.

Just beyond Rimrock is Rainbow Lake. Again, you can see the trail cut into the rock. We'll spend our first night here.

Lake at Falls is the next scenic gem down the trail.

Big Park Lake.

Duggan Lake outlet (almost 12 miles in).

Impasse Falls flowing into Dugan Lake.

Dewey Lake (at 14 miles). We still have a bit to go to our next camp near Fossil Lake.

Finally, the Fossil Lake Basin.

After a few more miles on the trail we'll head east towards Mariane Lake and spend night there.

After leaving Mariane Lake we begin hiking off trail, hopefully making it up to Caste Rock Glacier.

I suspect we'll be hiking up many waterfalls such as this.

More typical terrain

Rock Creek drainage and the Beartooth Plateau.

The First Rock Lake, our last camp. We regain the trail here.

Keyser Brown Lake

We'll follow Rock Creek back down to the trailhead.
