Final Thoughts

This was another great trip to Glacier. Though I missed not being able to share it all with Yumi, I met a lot of nice people and again had a blast. I was still amazed at how beautiful Glacier was and would go back right now if I had the vacation time.

This adventure would not have been possible without the help of many. First, thanks to Mike D. for ultimately making the trip possible. Had Mike not agreed to make the hike I never would have made it out. He also took some killer photos which I received in the mail just a few days ago. An excellent gift I'll treasure forever.

Andy allowed me to stick around the park for a few extra days by being in the right place at the right time.

Grandma/Mom took care of the boys for me while I was gone.

Yumi, bless her heart, knew how disappointed I was when our own trip to Glacier was aborted before it even began and insisted that I go this time. She's a great wife-to-be and I look forward to taking her back to Glacier soon.

Once again it's time to gather the photos and start planning for the next adventure. I'm not sure where we are going to wind up, but i know I wouldn't mind doing the hike from Two Medicine up to the St.l Mary Visitor Center I was supposed to do twice this summer but never did. Maybe we'll go to the Bighorns as I have some unfinished business there. Perhaps to Yellowstone or the Absaroka-Beartooth Wilderness. Wherever we wind up I'll be happy as long as Yumi is with me.
