Trip Photos

I took nearly 800 digital photos during the trip, about half of which I considered crap, the other half suitable for printing. Many of the good ones are found below.

All photos were taken with a Canon PowerShot SD 400 Digital Elph purchased in the summer of '05. Very small and compact, the 512 MB memory card enables me to take over 900 photos at 1600 x 1200 resolution.

Trip 1: Big Sandy opening over Hailey Pass, Washakie Pass and back to Big Sandy opening

This 5-night trip covered about 35 miles, crossing the continental divide twice. En route we discovered beautiful valleys, small lakes and streams. Unfotunately, we didn't get to the Cirque of the Towers this time, but I'm planning on seeing this feature during the summer of '07.

Trip 2: Elkhart Park to Indian Basin and back

This was an in and out over three nights, covering 42 miles including a day hike up to indian Pass, into Titcomb and Indian Basins.

Yumi and I spent a couple of days in the northwest section of the park, taking in the sights we missed in the summer of 2003.
